I own and use both. There is no question that the 4200 is better optically and is at least as tough if not tougher than the Burris. I also think the "eye box" is bigger on the 4200's. I like the Fullfields but they are behind my 4200's in my favorites line up.

My question, "Is $169.88 a good deal on FFII with Garmin etrex GPS?"

Never owned a Burris, but a number of Bushnell Elites.

Elites are built in Japan, the FF2s in the Philipines.

Elites have the Rainguard feature, which I think is worth considering.

I personally think Elites are one of the most underrated scopes on the market. Excellent optics, stand up well, and my experience has been that if a problem does occur, Bushnell looks after it.

FWIW.

I have an Elite 4200 3-9x40 and LOVE IT. The Rainguard is worth its weight in gold. Very repeatable and optically superior to my VX-II scopes. Maybe even the VX-3 scopes.
