Does anybody know for certain where the LXRs are or were made? CT or SC or both? Specifically, I'm interested in a .30-30.

Thanks, smokin'
I'm looking to buy one, but I'm concerned about buying sight unseen like GunBroker, and buying a pig in a poke, if quality is iffy.
If anybody knows of a trustworthy source, I'd appreciate a PM.
I'm new to this whole class of rifle (lever).
