Dober, I'd say that's a risky proposition. You might end up selling off all your Win 70's once you get comfortable with a Montana or 3

Id say lil sky 243....you cant say no to that kinda killing power in such a user friendly (recoil) package for the dude.

Yeah, that was my thought too. 7-08 might be a bit much when he's younger. Of course, I've not shot anything but 140s from my 7-08 (a 700).
