Hey NSAQAM, Larry is very "IN", LOL You also dishonor the 28th division by using the unit patch as an insult. As for the liar, welcher Bricktop, his day is fast approaching. Coward trolls won't accept PMs. How's the phantom "campfire" coming ?

I've used the round nose bullets in lever guns. When stacked in the tube you don't have to worry about the round nose setting off the other cartridges like you would with a pointed bullet. I use the Remington Core-Lokt 200grRN in my 336 35 Rem.
I've seen that bullet, but since it didn't have a cannelure, I figured it was set up for the .308 Win. Like firearms44, I've used the 200 grain RN in the .35 Remington and had no issues.

The same with Hornady 350grs in 45-70, used it for years (and not whimpy loads)without issue. It was before the availability of 350FP. I just shifted for CCI34 military semi auto primers which have thicker cup to add a bit of safety. But even without these, had no problem at all. Dom

Thanks fella's I have some around and thought I might use them in my 30-30s. The profile doesn't look much different than the sierras that they list as for a 30-30.
