Those officers do not seem to be armed with any knife-guns. The velocity at which those flying bears can achieve and the pure carnage that they can inflict leads me to believe that the "After" picture of this scene was quite a mess.

Flying bears be dangerous, but I still say-better a flying bear than a falling bear.  I don't know... Falling bears don't have the tendency to take a dump on your head. Flying bears though? They're just mean!!!
