.250 Savage in a 99 for the smaller stuff. .300 H&H or a .270 Weatherby in a No.1 for reaching out. .450 Alaskan or a .50-110 in an 71/86 action for the bigger up close and personal stuff.
If choosing from my current collection I would probably have to go with: 7mm-08 Sako for light carry rifle. 7mm STW Stiller Hart w/turrets for sit and glass then reach out and touch 'em rifle. 416 Rem Mag 700 w/open sights and scope in QD Warne rings for any beastie that might bite back and/or outweighs me by several multiples.
