iI have a 782 that I have owned snce the 70'sor 80's. I am giving it to a relative. I just bought a Ruger American 8323 Compact to replace it. I w prefer the reduced length and weight these days.

The Marlin is very accurate. I hope the Ruger is.

I’ve had 3 of this model, they all shot well, the best, one I still have shoots clover leafs at 50 yards with just about any premium ammo.
I doubt they will ever be made again with marlin. going the way to ruger. Todays market this a fair price for a darn nice durable accurate rinfire, that out shoots 77/22M all day long.
