In the land of corruption and prima-donnas any cop who arrests the DA might as well retire or quit, because nobody they arrest will ever get convicted.

1) no reason not to.

2) not sure what a lack of convictions would matter considering wrongful arrests aren't uncommon.

3) plopping her in a jail might end with her no longer being a prosecutor.
