Followed Mike's recipe that he won the steak competion with
Short marinade in 50/50 soy sauce and Segrams 7,then dry rubbed and done on my BGE. Outstanding,I can see why he won!
Made some brown sugar bourbon corn and Puerto Rican rice for sides
( a cast iron grate will be my next investment)

What soy sauce did you use?

Will do Keith
Soy sauce was kikkoman less sodium

Kikkoman is real. "Soy sauce" often isn't.

That seems way over priced......

I have a Knaack tool box to store accessories in
Posted By: BOWHUNR Re: Ribeye ala BOWHUNR ! - 05/20/13
That's crazy Dan!! I have less than $1000.00 in my stainless steel table and mine has more storage. It may not look as fancy, but it will never chip or rust.

I know it's way over priced by a lot !
Posted By: win7stw Re: Ribeye ala BOWHUNR ! - 05/21/13
I have around 600-700 in my table, not as fancy and not as much storage. It should hold up pretty well it's made of white oak. Same wood that was used on "old Ironsides".

I got this from Academy Sports. It has the raised ridges on the other side. Not a grate, but it helps me get the grill marks with out having to deal with flareups on chicken and porkchops.

Works great on steaks as well.
