Is there much love anymore for the Marlin 120 Magnum ? I have one I am considering selling. 12 gauge, 28" modified, ventilated rib barrel. Its what I think they called a deluxe model. Its in very good condition. I purchased this new around 1978.
Thanks
Charlie
They were a good, dependable shotgun when they came out. Art Burns (the Marlin engineer who was involved with creating the .444 Marlin) used to shoot trap with one. He had a 40 inch barrel with iron sights on it.
Solid shotguns. I recently picked up one at a pawn shop.
I shot one for skeet 26" IC and it double as a duck gun with an ounce of 7 1/2 early and an ounce of 5s late in the season after the teal and woodies were gone. Pre-steel days, traded it off for a SKB 100 for ducks and grouse.
