I have a box of once fired (by all appearances) brass with a headstamp of 45-70 Mag Lever Gun. The case lengths and weights are basically the same as my R-P and Starline cases, so I assume they are standard 45-70 cases with a unique headstamp. My question is whether anyone would value having these cases over normally stamped 45-70 cases. If not, I'll just toss them in with the rest of my cases and make them a part of my reloading rotation.

I think they might be cases made for Buffalo Bore. They have SR primer pockets to reduce the risk of detonation in the magazine from heavy recoil.

You’d need to keep them separate from your regular cases with LR primer pockets.

Nope. They require LR primers.

Anybody have a need for these?

Those look like LEVER GUN cases likely originally topped with a 380gn WFN solid.

Should be great cases.

Got plenty, but thanks.
