I don't know if this is the proper place for this inquiry, but I'll start here. I'm looking for metal targets to enhance the shooting enjoyment for this upcoming summer and was on line and saw a product by a company called MGM and their target was called the Whirlygig. It's basically a five spoked wheel that when hit the target on the end of the spoke comes off. (get on you- tube and you'll see what I mean) Have any of you guys shot at one of these? If so what did you think of it? Well made? Do any of you know in what city or state MGM is located? Thank you. BCM
It's a great target... lots of fun... I have had one for years. MGM is top notch also, very well built. They are out of Caldwell Idaho
Actionshooter, thank you very much for the reply. They sound well made then. Thanks. BCM
MGM makes very good targets.
They are a lot of fun, but once you figure them out, it takes longer to set up than it does to shoot it, so there's that.

They're great fun (or much hated) for matches, but I think you'd quickly grow tired of resetting it for recreational shooting.
Those types of targets are lots of fun to shoot at. I was involved with training youth groups at our local club and after the basic marksmanship training we would turn the kids loose on the reactive targets. We would also get the moms and dads involved in head to head and team matches. It was always a big hit and by the end the parents were having more fun than the kids. It went a long way towards removing the stigma of firearms from the parents minds and promoting the sport to a younger generation.
