So, I went out this past Monday evening with the intention of putting an ambuscade on this big nasty boar that has been here on the creek. Instead this ol’ boy makes his presence known.

I hesitate referring to this rifle as a cigarette rifle as it is of really nice quality. Receiver was scrubbed pretty well but the left a bit of a waffenamt on it. Clawmounts and old Nickel 4x with #1 recticle. Shoots very well with old Remington 180 RN corelokts factory loads.

I’ve got to get Dad’s 30-40 Krag Carbine I bought him YEARS a go at a pawn shop out of the safe and shoot some hogs. Still looking for some factory ammo, though.
Can’t find where he stashed the ammo I gave him for it anywhere. 🤪

Congrats on a great buck. That 'ol boy belongs in a full shoulder mount on your wall. If that's a cigarette rifle, then it's nice to see it hasn't quit smoking yet, as it seems to have smoked that buck nicely.
