So is there a list of good brokers out there?

I see the cabelas adventers hunt catalog but I haven't really ever run into a broker. NOT one for Africa, but a state side hunt broker would be interesting.

I had a friend who used Cabelas last year for a deer hunt to Sask. He will never use them again, poor experience. Outfit nothing like what was "sold" by cabelas in terms of accomodations and deer quality

Stay away from Cabelas. They list "Outfitters" that cant fill up. Most good "Outfitters" fill up quickly. I also know someone who used Cabelas. They would NEVER use them again. Do a search for a "Wes Hixon Adventures"(or something like that). I used him once and was very satisfied.

i too have a friend who used cabela's and would never use them again.

I have booked several hunts and gotten advice on several more from Keith Atcheson. He always has you talk directly to the outfitter. The price is the same to book through Atcheson as it is to book directly with the outfitter. So far I've been pleased with his service and will continue to book through him.
