I'm selling some of my guns since I'm not shooting or hunting as much these days. I need free up space in my house for other hobbies. This rifle is a Marlin 336 straight stock Texan made in 1971, no crossbolt safety, with the brass saddle ring, chambered in 30-30 Winchester (30 WCF). This Marlin is in very good condition for a 53 year old rifle. The bore is bright and shiny & the rifling is excellent. The action on this rifle is very smooth with an unusually good trigger for a lever gun. Drilled and tapped from the factory, both for a top-mount scope or peep sight, and on the side for a side-mount peep sight. This is a cash only sale, $900, and I prefer face-to-face in the Colleyville/Grapevine/NRH area.
