35 Whelen - 04/02/17
This rifle was custom built with a Douglas premium barrel as a 30-06. It was later rebored by JES to a 35 Whelen.
The action is a Remington 700 long action. The trigger has been reworked and breaks cleanly at just over two pounds. The stock is a Bell & Carlson that is in excellent shape. There are just a few using marks on the trigger guard and floor plate. Otherwise the rifle is as new.
It is accurate and reliable and shoots groups that are an inch and a quarter to inch and a half at 100 yards with factory Remington Corelokt ammo in both 200 and 250 grain. It feeds and ejects perfectly. Scope not included.
