I know I’m going to regret this but I’m selling my favorite hunting rifle, a super accurate pre-64 Winchester M70 in 30-06. It loves 150 gr Barnes TTSX but is non finicky and shoots everything well. I shot a .13” group at 100 yards off sandbags with this!! Insane. I’ve taken it pronghorn and mule deer hunting in Wyoming with great success. The Zeiss HD5 3-15x42 scope with the rapid z 600 reticle is a perfect fit and makes for easy and quick target aquisition. These guns were all hand built and are highly collectible. This one is a standard grade and is a highly accurate field gun. The bolt is one of the smoothest that I’ve felt. I’m going through a divorce so am offering this at a huge deal. I’m including the rifle, scope (I paid $1500 for the scope alone), and 5 boxes of Barnes 150 gr TTSX (sells for $45 each).

This is a steal. I hope a real Winchester enthusiast picks this up. I’ve owned many including one owned by Roger Rule and this was my favorite.

I hear you. I’ve just moved to a new place and had a ton of costs so am just trying to keep priorities. I hate to lose this (the best pre-64 that I’ve owned by far) and hope it goes to someone who will use it and appreciate it as much as I have.

LoL!! I've hunted this gun and it collects, but it's also a blast to take to the range for some target shooting. It really gave me some perspective on the cost of accuracy. Some guns like this just shoot! Or you could spend 5-10k on a custom and get the same results. lol.
