No, knight made this early model to use a plastic .38 cal casing taking a large pistol primer. I've found that with higher loads - 100-gr vol of Pyrodex, Pioneer, esp T7 and up - that they shatter. Thus I use reg brass .38 cal casings and cut them to size with an arrow cutter. This is not that hard and they last forever.
