Hi.does anyone know about versa max function? I have one that won't feed out of the magazine unless it is fired.Also does anyone know the length of plug to use so it will allow only 2 in the mag with both 3&1/2 &2&3/4 ammo. Thanks for any help.Dan

now I do not have a versamax nor have I ever shot one. but there are some shotguns built that you have to push a button to drop the shell carrier to get it cycling the first time. some benelli's do this..

I'm sure you've got something like that on there you just need to push.. I'm sure somebody will be here shortly and answer your question of exactly..

since nobody else has stepped in I looked it up the exact terminology.

cartridge release button
nearest shell station to my location


I assume that one works like my benelli's that if the bolt is closed then you feed the magazine fool you must push that cartridge release button man then rack your bolt and you will be in action.. or you can have the bolt held open drop One in the chamber then fill the magazine tube and you'll be fine
