well then..........write them at [email protected] and let them know you'll never again buy anything made by them.
They are sold out to enemies of our nation, out constitution, our people, and the Holy God, and fighting against any one of those is reason enough to not buy anything from them for evermore.
Copy and paste their address and sent it to every non-treasonous American in your address book, asking them all to do the same. Several million mad Americans can make a big difference in a very short time.
Seems they are cut from the same cloth as Gillette.
Just sent em a nugget. Like it means anything to them in their little crystal palace...
Like your jackets. Won't be buying em ever again, even if you retract this C19 Liberal Socialist Democrat agenda crap your company obviously supports. No matter how you spin it in your justification Your C19 policy is a feel good thing from good idea fairy,s at meetings and all you sheeples head started bobbing north and south....
I will spread the word among all I know and run into in Clarksville Tn and also the mil retirees I know in the area. See someone checking out your brand in a store. Social butterfly and strike up a conversation...
I hope your employees can find work elsewhere that pays better, instead of working for a Liberal Socialist Democrat agenda company like yours has been revealed to be.
Problem is they are so deeply entrenched brand name wise in the construction and farming industry not to mention all others across the board in outdoor work clothes. It probably aint gonna phase them one bit on their sales.

Ya but I sent them an email anyway. If they get enough they might at least talk about it. I told them I was going to talk to the local stores that sold their products too…..
I've been wearing Duluth Trading for several years. I have DT pants, jackets, gloves, boots, underwear and arctic gear. I wouldn't wear another pair of Carhartt's weirdly-cut sandpaper pants on a bet, although I do have a pair of their Yukon bibs as part of my arctic gear.
These employee vaccination requirements are no longer justifiable. It's now clearly about employee /worker/ citizen domination. The CDC has clearly stated that cruise ship goers face the risk of getting and spreading the virus regardless of vaccination status. If vaccination status on ships doesn't matter why should it matter in the workplace? Or, for that matter, anywhere?
They simply passed the hot potatoe over to the private sector. Probably with back room deals, that they are to big to fail. You know tax payer bail outs. Cheat on your taxes, and we will look the other way kinda chit. They all believe everyone is stupid but them.
Nah, I don't put up with this shyte, I will do whatever it takes to not support any company that thinks it can impose a mandate on any populace. There are options, I will explore them.
I still wanna wear my chore coat, cause it’s raggedy and I like for people to think I’m from “out west” It’s part of my ‘get up’ I already got the know-it-all asshat part down
Actually, the SC case didn't really address the mandate itself. The case was more about whether or not the Federal Government has the authority to mandate a vax. So the Federal Government can't mandate a vax, but a private company can do whatever they want. It's their stupid choice. Not sure if they've heard, but there's a labor shortage pretty much everywhere. If they lose 25% of their workforce, they've pretty much screwed themselves. In addition to that, now they've pissed off their customer base. Kinda suicidal if you ask me.
I've got a news flash for them. The vaccine won't keep their workers from getting the Kung Flu, and it won't keep them from spreading it to their co-workers. So what's the point?
I'm vaxxed, but not boosted, and I got it 3 weeks ago. I came to work and gave it to half my guys. Didn't even know that I was sick other than the sniffles and a little cough. All of my guys survived and they're all back to work.

I just killed a 'lined' chore coat that I use to deal with the outdoor wood boiler daily. So much for replacing it ........

That’s actually where mine takes the most abuse too ✔️🥴
I'd read way back in the late '80s or early '90s that they were anti hunting. They had requests to make camo stuff and had refused.
I was just going to order a snap on hood for one of their coats, (supplied by my workplace without one). Guess I'll have to figure out something else.
Tempted to cut off their logo patch on the stuff I have of there's.
Had some upland brush pants and a upland vest in that time frame from them. They still list a hunting gear page, but it is limited. You must be vaxxed to use it though.

My guess is Carhartt as well as other businesses doing likewise are basing a big part of their decision to enforce mandatory vaccinations for all employees on the government's own published (and highly suspect) stats of percentage of those vaccinated so far believing with so many already vaccinated and the popularity of their products it won't hurt their profits much.

those of us from "out west"
He doesn't even seem to realize when it's used in that respect Out West is correctly typed using capital letters................................

I wonder how much of their decision is based on the Corporate Law Offices telling them they might get sued by a Karen because Joe that works next to her gave her the Corona, and she passed it on to her family, including little Billy and Sally.
Just called them and gave them my 2 cents. Everyone should do that and maybe they won’t force their employees to get injections.8008333118 then press 0

Was some fouck that didnt even have his locale in his profile. Just some generic Tin Shed Ned that was all riled up a few days about snow and ice and Atlanta drivers He dropped a couple of nuggets about Bear Claw pass or some chit. LOL
"Very disappointed to learn that your company has bowed to left wing pressure to force your employees to receive covid "vaccine" shots as a condition of continued employment; despite the fact that such a mandate by the federal government has been ruled unconstitutional. I understand that as a private employer, you are entitled to take this action, but understand that as a consumer I am entitled to purchase competing companies' products. I can tell you that your products are not indispensable to me and that I will be taking my business elsewhere.
I would think that the folks who buy your products would tend to be among the more independent-minded citizens of our country. These are the very folks who most object to having the government, or the companies with whom they do business, force their fellow citizens to receive a "vaccine" which has so many questions about its safety and effectiveness. Your employees deserve better than to be subjected to this mandate."

Yeah, I'm with you. I figured out awhile back, if you ain't had it yet.........................you're gonna get it one day.
Makes no difference to someone who wants to hire a lawyer to sue. I'd guess sometimes they're just happy to get an out of court settlement. The argument might be :" It must have been Joe, he works right next to my client. Prove it wasn't Joe". Doing so would cost the company some bucks. Paying Karen off might just be cheaper............................Having a vaxx mandate probably cheaper still.

Thank you most kindly for making your vaccine mandate policy very clear to the General Public.
My employees and myself have been extremely loyal customers for decades.
But no longer... In fact, I just posted a "NO Carhartt Communist Clothing Work Wear Policy" for the entire construction site.
"Any man or woman wearing Carhartt Communist work wear on this site will be immediately terminated. All subcontractors will have their contracts terminated likewise.

Kind of. Supreme Court says the Fed Gov't can't mandate it for private companies. The "ripple" is that OSHA has canceled their mandate since it doesn't have fed backing. I'm not sure if that OSHA is "Occupational" or "Oregon" .. need to re-read.
It would seem to leave employers who have mandated vax hung out to dry so far as liability if an employee is injured by / killed by the jab. Can't sue the gov't, can't sue big pharma, but the employers who mandate vax are not protected by law.
I think that is why my employer .. the HR director and VPs are careful to say compliance with vaccine policy is mandatory. The prez, who just left, kept saying vaccination mandatory, which isn't the same thing. The policy says "get vaxed or get an approved exemption." I didn't have any problem getting the exemption.

I have purchased Duluth stuff and been really happy with it.
Also not USA made if that's what you're looking for.
Is there a good American alternative?
I am genuinely interested.
Used to be company called WOW (Wicks Outdoor Wear)... that was better than Carhartt...
They closed (didn't sell out to BassPro or Dicks or whoever)... they just shutdown and retired.
These guys supposedly took up the fabric from WOW...
I personally cannot vouch for anything about them... but they say Made in the USA... any their fashion models are just people... so I respect the humility.
Call them and ask...

I called and told them I like there stuff. Then I told them I’ll never buy their stuff again if they mandate the shot. Communism is spreading faster then COVID.
Have never bought anything Carhartt makes. Since I do not approve of Vaccine Mandates I sent them a email to let them know how I feel about what they doing.
There is some good news concerning the shot. One of the larger fire districts in our county hired a new fire chief. Apparently one of the first things he wanted to do was have a vaccine mandate. The Board said no and he resigned.

I fired em just now with an email. Considering putting a flag pin over their logo from now on. Seems dumb to throw it all away after I paid good money for it.

Good thinking! That's the ticket!
Yeah, have too much of it to throw it out. (Except for the work coat that was free).
Cover up the logo, no more free advertising.
Need to find some American flag pins that are made in the USA. Anyone know of any?

If all freedom loving Americans ditched carhartt, that would be one helluva message. We won’t buy Nike at our house either. You can vote with your checkbook everyday. Ditched Amazon also.

What a shame. There is getting to be a long list of companies like them. I just found an arctic carharrt jacket in my attic that I bought in 2001 and never wore. It's brand new
Forcing your employees to bend a knee to the Scamdemic in order to keep their jobs is a absolute shame; if what I’ve read is true. I’ve worn nothing but Carhartt Work Shirts for 20 plus years. Never again, you’ve lost me as a customer forever!! As for my current Carhartt collection, most will be destroyed by a raging fire on the 22nd!! FR shirts will be shredded!!
My go-to brand of heavy outdoor & work outer clothing is Berne brand. Cheaper but every bit as good as Carhartt and Walls in my opinion, and a BIG plus is they are openly pro 2nd Amendment...
My company and crews will no longer be purchasing Carhardt products from our local retailer. We have supported them for many years. We have used your products exclusively, have been very satisfied with the quality and pricing.
This decision is in response to your covid employee policy. The employer, nor government have any right enforcing any type of "medical" mandates on employees or citizens. Hopefully your company will take heed in the feedback that you are receiving. Your company and policy is trending on social media now. There are alot of forums discussing this, none are in a favorable light. Remember the saying; " If you don't take care of your customer, someone else will".
I expect no response or action. Figured the local retailer part might get them to stop for second. But WTF? I'm bored and killing some Yuengling.

thumbcocker; Good afternoon sir, I hope the day's been a good one for you and this finds you well.
I'm not sure exactly when, but the coats about 20 odd years back began to be made in Mexico.
If your part of the world is like up here, vintage Carhartt stuff made in USA is going for way more than I paid new so there is that option.
During spring, fall and winter I live in Carhartt bib overalls, but when I looked at the ones for sale at the local shop at Christmas, I saw they were made in India instead of Mexico where the last ones I bought were made.
I know the folks in India need to eat too, but it irked me sufficiently that I didn't pick them up.
For my fellow Canucks here there's a company called Tough Duck from back east that make "some" of the clothes here. The bibs used to be, but I'm not sure if they still are.
I just ordered some from a place called Northern Boots so I guess I'll be finding out.
It is too bad about Carhartt for sure, but up here it seems the lumbersexuals and hipster looking females wear them more than the working folks.
Hopefully that was useful to you or someone out there thumbcocker.
All the best to you regardless of our work clothing issues.

That sounds like about what I sent Dollar Shave Club after they gave big money to BLM..
I DID get a response from them though.
They told me they were sorry to lose my business, but their decision was staying in place.
A private employer can require whatever they want.
Just because they can, doesn't mean they should. Neither does it free them of consequences. Consumers can patronize or boycott whomever they want as well.
Damn! Now I can't wear my logo fetish outdoor working man gear W/out shame even if it is made in a 3rd world schidthole. What do I do w/ the"indestructible" hard core cool guy stuff I have now?
Goodwill will soon be the happy hunting ground for those that buy previously worn clothing. LMAO

FWIW, the “Ridgecut” brand, that Tractor Supply sells, is from Berne. I know this because I ordered some vests a couple years back, and the return address on them was direct from Berne.

I checked my jacket. It is a j02 Made in the USA. Thanks for the good thoughts, and good thoughts to you to!
Hey guess what Carhartt? There are a lot of other US companies making work clothes now, and they don’t do this to their employees. Looks like it’s time to go there. I hope companies that buy in bulk, do the same. Carhartt can have a safe, and broke workplace.
Why don'tYa quit ya bitchin here and type em an email and send it....could ya imagine what ta hell if a CEO gets in in the AM and there are 40,000 emails waiting for him....JeezOhPete...
Damnit i like my carhartt work jackets and bibs. Never minded paying more because the stuff has always lasted. And im hard on stuff But if u wanna make big boy business decisions be cognizant there are repercussions. FU carhartt and any other business that pedals this vax bullshit
I'm old enough that I've got plenty of USofA Carhartt clothes and will wear them till they can't be worn...in the mean time, I'll be saving more for Filson....and or the like...YMMV
I still wanna wear my chore coat, cause it’s raggedy and I like for people to think I’m from “out west” It’s part of my ‘get up’ I already got the know-it-all asshat part down
Will never again buy Carhartt. Have a decent collection, but will not replace it with Carhartt products when they wear out.
With their mandate, I doubt they will gain customers for their stance. I mean, how many people will find out about their stance, And then decide to start purchasing their clothing. I would think it might be a single person. Maybe.
Whereas the number of people who are going to stop buying their clothing because their stance will be many.
Like Nike, Yeti, Dicks, etc,,,, you all are going to bring Carhart to its knees. LOL
You are thinking too much, its simpler than that. Its about... not supporting Companies who's policies that take individuals and the collectives Peoples freedoms away, and I would rather support another smaller, more local, business that doesn't.

When the retailers stop making orders is what counts. Make sure your local retailers will kow much space they have wasted in their stores and not to plan on your continuing business.
They lost this Gen Xer. I don’t know anyone else my age that is into this woke BS either.
Pretty much everybody I know that has a substantial amount of Carhartt gear would be pissed off to learn what the company is up to. This runs from 20 year olds to 80's. There are quite a few hipster-types around here that have a hat or two, but they aren't the ones that keep the company in business.
Went to the Berne site and they’re like most other places, out of everything except small and xxl. My luck.
You aren't missing a damn thing.
Never knew winter work wear could have such piss poor quality.
Coming from somebody whose ex employer bought approximately 100 pair of bibs and coats for us field workers one winter because the union was squealing.
I bet 25% of the zippers were schitt in the first month.

Probably takes 2 minutes with a stitch ripper to take off that emblem and tag. Then it's just a no-name work coat that you already spent your money on.
It's a matter of principle, if one is going to continue to wear it they may as well continue to buy.
If you wear it, you stand for the company it represents, emblem or not. He who wears it knows where it came from. If someone wishes to condemn them, then don't wear their product and damn them to your hearts content.

I was just going to say that. I did that with a big name blue jean company when I found out they gave to gun grabbing organizations. I don't buy them any more. I don't have any Carharrts and won't buy any ever. I'll make my own and they will be far better than Carhartts before I support enemies that insist on killing or harming their employees with the lethal injections.

True, and their employees will know who mandated they get the jab if they have vaccine side effects down the road. Corporate COVID vaccine mandates could be the asbestos litigation of the future. I'm not anti-vax by any stretch, but a mandate seems to short-circuit informed consent in some sense.
I sent them an email expressing my thoughts on their mandate. It will fall on deaf ears, but I will no longer purchase anything with their brand on it. Duluth is my new choice, at least for now.
Don't just quit buying, lets everyone burn what we have and post pics or it didn't happen. Because if you quit buying and are still wearing old stock you'll still be a supporter.
