That looks great!

I just harnessed the power of the search bar box in my duckduckgo and it returned GPO as Giant Pacific Octopus.

Returns were accomplished in .002378 seconds

Eat them here occasionally. Best I've had was on Santorini. Divers would throw them up on Deck and they'd go straight to the grill.

LOL, my duckduckgo returned government printing office, Green party of Ontario, and general post office on the 1st page. In any case, this wasn't a Giant Pacific Octopus, it came from the Mediterranean.

I had some at Benidorm, Spain. Like chewing rubber bands. 😳😁

The meat has to be broken down by boiling for a half hour or so before putting it on the grill. Done like that, it cuts with a fork.

Not a fan of octopus. Calamari on the other hand is a mollusk I can sink my teeth in.

When I make this I add octopus and a little fish sauce, it is great.

Grilled octopus/squid's tentacles are actually quite tasty. Very chewy, but good table fare. My opinion only! MTG

The first time I had them was at a Lesbianease College Party I was 17 or 18.
They set me up to look for them when ever a Restaurant has them on the menu.

My mom the fanatic Mormon was not to happy when she asked how the party was that my Cousin (College age)
And I told her that it was a Lesbianease Party and it was great.

Great times back then and the food was Great as well.

Santorini was working a couple of miles west of us for the last year. I was on Devils Tower.

My dad, paternal grandmother and oldest sister would have a conniption fit if I brought a squirrel home with no head!!!!
The would eat the cheek meat first. Pull off the lower jaw and eat the tongue. A sharp crack with a table knife and the skull was dissected to consume the brain! 😖
