We're watching the western part of the state get hammered and know that it's predicted for us over here in southeastern Iowa tomorrow. The temp and humidity have been rising here since around 5 p.m.

Things were pretty bad around this part of Iowa. Most of Minden, Iowa got wiped out.

NW Omaha around Waterloo/Bennington got hit pretty hard. Horse farm near by was totally wiped out. Horses just huddled in the open field afterwards. Can't imagine what it would be like to loose everything in a blink like that.....

We are predicting tornados for the next few days. One hit in Fredonia, Ks just 40 miles from us. We had a bad one here in 2000 and it made a wide path through our town. we do not have a basement either and I sleep fine. Spring is always a bad time for tornados.
