Any recommendations for 20 gauge turkey choke for lead shot?Probably Winchester Longbeard #5. Thanks in advance
Indian creek, Sumtoy, Jebs! These just to mention a few.
Jebs is known to have the best tubes for a 20 gauge.
I just set up a 20 gauge to turkey hunt with, I'll be going with a Jebs 565 restriction shooting TSS.
From my experience, I’d say ic, sumtoy, or if you want a little cheaper the primos jelly head has done well.
I’m not saying don’t use a Jebs but I’ve had better luck out of ic
Carlsons Long beard XR 568
Indian Creek chokes are my go to chokes
Colonial Arms .570 has been excellent in mine with H136’s, 7’s and Fed hw 7’s. Good with lead out to 35yds but I’ve not tried LB’s.
I have 2 20 gauge guns that I use to turkey hunt with, a Remington 870 and an 11-87. The Indian Creek Black Diamond has always patterned good, but I tried a Carlson's Longbeard also. I shoot Winchester Longbeard 5's, and the Indian Creek is just a little better.
Giving the TruGlo "Head-Banger" a try. It's an extended choke with straight rifling in it. I'll give it a try and see, spent money on goofier stuff!
Ive got Indian Creek and Carlson. Both are really good!
Indian Creek, Indian Creek and last but not least... Indian Creek or your money back.
Rhino, Sumtoy and Kicks are the others I’d buy without hesitation.
