I have read a few Erik Larsen and really enjoyed the research he put in and storytelling ability of the author. MY BIL turned me on to a few of his books the best likely being "Dead Wake" about the Lusitania. In return I sent him "Code Name: Lise", about a decorated female spy for the allies during WW2 by Larry Loftis. He loved it.

Has anyone else read these and have something similar to recommend? I have read "A Man Called Intrepid" and another about Juan Pujols Garcia. Doesn't have to be WW2 related.

Opinions?

When a country is well governed, poverty and a mean condition are something to be ashamed of. When a country is ill governed, riches and honors are something to be ashamed of
