I would like to have one! What feature do you like the most on that rifle? I like the Safety and the Bolt looks like something Weatherby should be using in their rifles. There is probably not a dealer within a 5 hour drive that stocks this line.

I like the looks of this rifle but like Oldelkhunter I wouldn't have a clue where I could find one to handle it and they are mighty spendy to take the chance of ordering one in the blind.......Hb

Have a couple, 30-06 and a 6.5x55, both shoot extremely well with a range of bullet weights. Stocks are well made, finish is tough as nails and the short bolt throw is very nice, cycles very smooth and the safety is also a plus. Only two negatives, the detachable magazine, I prefer a blind magazine and they cannot be rebarreled.

Really like the looks of the M12 Trail rifle with the orange camo stock....

I have had one in 9.3x62, I agree with Nathanial's assessment with a few additional comments.
Very nice trigger, great safety, nice iron sights (even for older eyes), the rifle is very easy to cycle repeated shots from the shoulder, the stock design and / or composition I found very effective at absorbing recoil. The rifle carries very naturally and "pointed" very well for me.
One "[bleep]"; the rifle was a bit fussy with feeding blunt bullets, the north fork cup point solid would need feed at all and flat point solids would fail to feed often, round nose solids would feed.
Two things I did not like:
- the arrangement for the front action screw and the recoil lug. The Recoil lug is screwed into the action and the action screws into the screw which hold the recoil lug in. The screw which held the recoil lug in place was / became stripped on my rifle within months of me buying the rifle and it was sent off for warranty work.
-the bolt release is overly complex and on a few occasions mine failed to work, I had to pull the barreled action from the stock to release the bolt and tweak things so the bolt release would work again. This did not inspire confidence.
Those two issues were enough for me to sell the rifle. I would suggest before one spends the cash have a look at the recoil lug arrangement to see if it sits well with you.
I may have had a lemon and the issues I experienced may be a rare occurrence for the M12 rifle. The statistical relevance of one event is low.
All the best.

I don't like lousy recoil lug setups and that sounds like one and also the bolt release. These rifles are not exactly cheap and because I cannot hold one before I purchase it , that sort of puts the kabosh on it. Thanks for the Post

Yeah from what I gather I dont think you can adjust the trigger on these, it is set @2lbs from the factory and non-adjustable, this is much too light for My taste, I like My hunting rifle triggers set around 3.5lbs.......Hb
