I have heard and read this story before, but it slipped from my memory. Even In War, Good Will To Men It’s a very touching story, and like “The Christmas Rifle”, it plays hell with your allergies! Merry Christmas my friends!

In any war, many of the soldiers have no dog in the fight. They're there because they have to and have no real animosity toward their enemy. On both sides lots of soldiers would rather be home with their families and are sick of the whole thing. In the Ukraine, I'll bet that thousands of soldiers would be good friends of the Russians they're fighting if Putin and Zelensky weren't forcing them to kill each other.

It's not over when you lose. It's over when you quit.
I’m trying to remember where I heard about this. Could be the movie, but then you folks that know me also know that I’m a history nerd. Could be I read about in a book or something. But I saw it this morning, and knew it was way too good not to pass on. I’m a sucker for the stories that illustrate how God works in all our lives, and especially at Christmas. Whether we realize it or not, He truly numbers the hairs on our heads. 7mm
