This one fell off a cliff you can see I’m holding a piece of the left antler up as it was smashed to pieces ended up getting a knife made from this stag

A lot of them I am it’s the Kimber , The one that ran along way I used my Tikka 270wsm with 160grain partitions , that rifle combo flattened some big deer , the 35 makes a big difference but I still wouldn’t hesitate to use the 270wsm that’s a great calibre

Reini Streiker had the best sambar head I ever saw That’s a classic for sure but there’s been some incredible heads taken since and quite afew have been taken by young keen fellas getting amongst it , 2014 -2018 was huge for big deer dropped off abit now but there still out there the fun and hard work is finding them on your feet rather the mobile couch

Mate let his dogs out for a run tonight and saw this fella out in the gully behind the yards , before he could get ready he ducked off into the bush again chasing a Hind , Started eating his tea and looked out the window and saw him back again nearly choked on his potato’s getting it down raced out and got him from about 250m with his 300 weatherby, very rutty thrashing tussocks and carrying on , never knew what hit him he soaked it up well and said if the barnes didn’t break his offside shoulder he would’ve gone far even with no lungs left 30x29
