Looking good though I would replace the recoil pad with a black or brown solid Pachmyer. It is a good representation of the era but I never cared for the red ventilated look.
I had a field grade for a few years, I sold it when offered, to me, an ungodly amount of money. Sometimes I wish I still had it.

Thanks guys. The original Hawkins pad is still soft the way it was when it was put on 85 years ago. So it gets to stay.

Good work on the restoration. If that is like my 31TC, those vent ribs were machined integrally with the barrel, not added on. Amazing craftsmanship back in the day.
Too close for irons, switching to scope...

RemingtonPeters: That is indeed a very handsome gun! I was/am not familiar with the Model 32TC - thanks to you and others for the pictures/information. It is amazing that pad is still subtle after all these years! I got curious as to dates of manufacture and looked up the 32 TC and it was first made in 1931 and discontinued in 1947. Only 6,500 units made. Enjoy that rare and nifty old shotgun. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
