You asked for other suggestions. Well here's one.
For Elk hunting in the Colorado Mountains last year, we used a Cabelas Instinct-6 Tent with a small Lixata portable butane space heater.
Get the tent with aluminum poles (not fiberglass) and switch out the heavy steel stakes for heavy duty aluminum stakes. You can get the weight down to <25#. This will be important to your pilot. It's a standup dome tent and it's bombproof. It weighs more than your Sawtooth but there won't be any condensation on the inside of the walls. Obviously this tent is not for backpacking.
Cabeles Instinct-6 tentI bought the Lixata portable butane heater from Amazon. Make sure to vent the tent if your going to run the heater when sleeping. It weighs a lot less than your stove. Also the canister stand that comes with it is too small for some canisters and it's made of cheap plastic. I bought an adjustable metal stand, which works on all canisters.
In Alaska in September (south of the Brooks Range) you probably won't need to run the heater at night. Maybe just use it for a couple of hours in the morning. But you will need it to dry out clothes.
