I may have an opportunity to purchase above rifle. I believe it was only made in 1983. Condition is believed to be good/excellent. Any idea on fair market value? I’ve combed the usual suspects on the web. Not a lot of comps. I’m thinking $1200-1500. Fair or ?
Thanks Travis

At today's crazy prices, $1,200 isn't out of the ball park. Troutnut - yes, the early rifles were blued and walnut with 18-1/2" barrels. I have had several, still own one in 7mm-08. They were accurate, too.

In good shape its worth that. I've had a 243 and 223 from that era. Wish I had kept the 243

Definitely $1200 would be a excellent price in todays market. I do believe on Gunbroker it would sell for more then $1500

I walk around like I'm ok, but deep down inside, I wanna buy another gun.

Yep. I had one in .223. Handy little truck carbine for coyotes. Mine was very accurate. Wish I had hung on to it.
