I have an older Marlin 25N that has some pretty shabby aluminum rings on it. I was looking to upgrade to some better rings made of steel. Anyone have a source for steel rings that will fit the grooved receiver? Thanks.

I've had one since the early 1980s that I replaced the stock with a factory laminate, and for rings I installed Millets rings.. they are around at $20 to $22.00 a set...I put on the high rings, since I have a 4.5 x 14 scope mounted on it...originally I had a 4 x 16 Tasco World Class... hence the high rings...

Since B-Square started offering their 3/8" dovetail to Weaver Adapter bases for sale, I have converted all of my grooved receiver rifles to this format. Brownell's has them as part # 122-000-011. Since Warne makes my favorite Weaver-style rings, those are what I have used most often.
