The kids were over yesterday for dinner and a visit. I fixed lasagna, a sauce to go along with it, Caesar Salad (the pedestrian version, with a commercial dressing) and a good bottle of Norton Malbec, from Argentina. My Wife and Daughter wanted something fun, so I made Strawberry Margaritas. Fresh strawberries, fresh lime juice, a bit of Roses Lime Juice, lots of ice, some Triple Sec, and a good bit of Cuervo Gold.

Good drink....
For the men I've grown to like the Mint Julep..
Spoonful of sugar mixed with spoonful of water, add mint leaves and crush in bottom of glass, add a straw and crushed ice....then 2 jiggers of good AMERICAN bourbon/whiskey (none of that Canadian sissy stuff), mash and place a couple of mint leaves on top and kick back....a great summer drink!!

The best non-alcohol drink I know (had one last night) is a South Hampton:
In a tall glass with crushed ice combine Dash of bitters Half ounce of lime juice Fill with tonic water.
Just about THE most refreshing, non-cloying drink there is.

Not bad Mannlicher but you still have a ways to go before you top that mango/strawberry/guava drink you shared on 3/2/08. My wife still talks about it.

my fav's BLT Bacon flavord vodka,V-8, little tobasco, and black pepper
I also am know to mix mountain dew and dark rum, capt' mo's private stock seems to be best.
orange juice and key light seems to be a winning combo, for some reason too
the weirdest mix i had was ammareto (? sp)and key light, it tasted just like Dr. Pepper
right now since it is still winter, pepperment schnops or jack for a quick warm up

Have pretty much given up the juice these days, so it's plain old iced tea for me, although Wyoming Cowboy's BLT sounds great.
