Pre-ordered one on August 24th. Hopefully your post means that my copy should get here any day now.

Can't wait to open it and see John's hand written note - "To Jim, the mightiest hunter, best shot and all around greatest guy in the world!"

(Didn't even cost extra to have him say that!)

Jim,

All the pre-ordered copies went out last Tuesday. Yours should be there any day. It as matter of fact it should have gotten there already, since Marc got his in Virginia.

"Media mail" can take a while, even across short distances, but if it doesn't show soon let us know.

Yep, we sign every book we ship. If you want something special (like "To The Greatest Deer Hunter in Winchester County") then we will do that too. Just let us know.

Some people have even asked Eileen to sign the new book as well, which is logical, since she did the design and layout, and has put up with a lot of gun gack over the decades.

Mine was in the mailbox yesterday afternoon. Read up through page 120 even with having to take time out for dancing lessons. wink

The chapter on stock fit helped explain a lot, like why the standard Remington BDL stock fits me like it was custom made.

You must be ripping right through the book, if you read almost 300 pages already. Wondering if the butler did it?

I've got more like 6 chapters left. I hit it again at lunch and have been up late with it at night grin
