I emailed him and he said he is using brand new Remington barrels that he flutes. Seems like a pretty fair deal considering the MOA guarantee?

A factory rifle with some fluting and a skeletonized bolt handle for around $1500 I guess I don't see how this is such a great deal!

I suppose that if someone didn't want to put together the parts to build their own faux Ti, its not a bad rig. Plus it looks like the finish is pretty good on them so for the cost its OK.
Still seems more fun to collect parts and spec it out on your own. Then send it off to a good smith that you can work with. Once you have the first one the next gets pretty easy:)

I believe the barrel and action are checked for true and are then cryo treated. then the rifle is tested if it does not pass it is taken apart and used for parts in builds. Hay guys pickup the phone hell I did and I can't get the guns shipped up to Canada, cheaper then a Cooper and most likely lighter.

I had one in 30-06 and am not sure why I sold it. It was extremely accurate with all factory ammo I tried and the work was first class.

Having collected parts and dealt with a smith or two, that price is freakin' unbeatable!! Just my two cents...
The only thing I might negotiate with them is simply letting me buy a McMillan and having them use it instead of the B&C.
Uh-oh, they offer one for the 7SAUM! Hmmmmm....

I replace valve cover gaskets every 50K, if they don't need them sooner...

If you like being bent over,it'd be a nice way to arrange same. For $1500 I'd want to specify twist, throating, contour and length...as bare minimums. 1500 clams will grant a top flight barrel and a McMillan stock on a 700,along with dies, brass and boolits. Someone thinking that the 'Hawk Factory Massage for 1500 is a "good deal",certainly hasn't been around rifles much,if at all.

Boxer; can you tell me where to shop and remember this is a complete gun I have nothing to start with just $1500.00. I do believe Red hawk down the road is thinking of building what you want at a fair price. Not looking for a pissing match just maybe I'm looking in the wrong places.
