I got everybody in the family Christmas presents that year with all the coupons...was a fun time as a kid...

This reminds me of a an old story of the period. A gas station was giving away sets of very nice crystal drinking glasses, 1 glass per 10 gal purchase. A couple had saved up a full set of 8. Then a friend was getting married and they decided to give the glasses for a gift. The bride and groom were unwrapping gifts and they came to the glasses. The people were worried that the gift would be recognized as having come from a gas station. The newlyweds ooed and awwed as expected. Then they unwrapped another gift which just happened to be a matching water pitcher. Someone in the group said "Hey, someone got an oil change!"
