Any of you fellas old enough to remember Frank Ifield? My mother had a few of his recordings when I was growing up, and I used to love them. "I remember you" " Lovesick Blues" "Wayward Wind" etc. The man had a great voice!

Oh yeah, I remember him! Great voice. "I Remember You" was awesome! Is he still alive?

Didn't he immigrate to England?

I thought he was Australian but according to this source, he was born in England. Still alive too, it seems. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Ifield

I thought he was born in England, and moved to Australia when he was a youngster. My mother was a big fan. I remember listening to Waltzing Matilda, and wondering what the heck a billabong and swagman were!
