Camera Land's Holiday Daily Blowout, Day 14

We have been working with all of our suppliers to find items we can offer at crazy low prices for the holidays.
With this in mind we will be trying to post something everyday.

Today's post is for a Minox BV 10x42 BL Binocular #62168, that has a slight color imperfection in the rubber armor coating, for only $159.99. These are new binoculars that usually sell for $299.00, however, there was a run where the green rubber armor coating did not color perfectly (where have I heard this before?) and we bought them all up.

Here's the Minox description of these binoculars:
Binoculars from MINOX not only offer the latest technology and excellent quality in all its product ranges, but also feature an excellent cost to benefits ratio. With the Value Line the optical specialists at MINOX show once again that quality is very affordable. Here the BV 10x42 BR show the many renowned design features and functions of the latest MINOX sport optics. These binoculars are ideal for the price conscious outdoor enthusiast whether travelling, being involved in sport, watching an event, hunting or looking at nature of every kind.

Satisfaction at an affordable price is guaranteed by the modern optical systems of the BV 10x42 BR. These binoculars feature multicoated lens elements which reduce glare to a minimum and provide exceptionally high light transmission as well as neutral colour rendition of the subject in view. Thanks to the roof prisms with phase correction coating the user can enjoy an image with high detail rendition and rich in contrast even in poor light conditions. Available with a 8x or 10x magnifica-tion these new MINOX BV binoculars are the perfect low cost alternatives for nature observers, hunters and birders.

Featuring an exceptionally slim design helped by the use of modern roof prisms and with an excellent grip thanks to their rubber armouring, the binoculars rest comfortably in your hands. The sturdy body ensures the reliable operation of the internal optical system and precision mechanism which are fully protected against dust and water through an innovative sealing technology. The BV 10x42 BR is water-tight preventing the penetration of moisture up to a pressure of 0.5 bar or a depth of down to five meters in water. The nitrogen gas filling also provides permanent protection against internal corrosion and prevents fogging of the optical surfaces, even with extreme temperature fluctua-tions. The outer shape of the new BV binoculars is the work of VOLKSWAGEN-Design. This cooperation of MINOX and the VW designers has already been recognised many times with prestigious awards for the design of binoculars and spotting scopes.

With their extended exit pupil and twist-up rubber eyecups with click stops the BV line can also be adjusted very well to the individual re-quirements of people wearing glasses. Therefore spectacle wearers can enjoy a full field of view that is sharp right to the edges.

Doug,

Are these from the same line as the 13x56's? I haven't looked, but I hope they are. Great bins of they are.

Thanks Doug!!!!!!

IN any event if they are like the 13x's I own, they are worth the buck especially for the price.

Gang,
As you know Doug is the Man for optics around here. I won't get started cause I got dinner waiting, but these little Minox might be worth buying. I own glass from the HG and the BL BR lines and I love them.

Just a shout out for Doug!

Thanks again Doug for the carification.

Kique

As a "to me - from me - thank me very much gift", I ordered a set of the MINOX BV 10x42 binoc's. They arrived this evening, very prompt service form Cameraland NY, I will give future business to these guys. Excellent service.

The binoc's have very nice glass, a good solid feel, a very smooth and fine resolution focus. I am a happy camper.

Thanks guys.

They are a step above. if you receive them, check them out for a few days and do not agree you can send them back (as with any purchase from us)

Lifetime warranty. If it is something that cannot be easily repaired in a couple of weeks they will replace it
