Absolutely; and the Earth is not spinning at 1,000 miles per hour either. I sit on my porch at night and I observe the same North Star (Polaris) never moving, night after night, month after month, year after year. That would be impossible if we lived on a 1,000 mph spinning ball, in a spinning “solar system”, in a spinning galaxy. Common sense, but the lemmings love the cliff...
