Meatballs, lasagne, stuffed shells, basically casarol. They stay hot during the service, and make a good cheap dish.

I usually make pulled pork or brisket. They stay warm in a crock pot with sauce. Bought dinner rolls or buns at SAMS. I did them all the time for my daughter's band stuff in HS, it was always some of the first stuff to go. Cheap and easy to make, plus easy to serve.

I love potlucks, as I love to have a choice as to a variety of foods. But, I'm also someone who just won't eat anyone's cooking, so I usually try to find out who brought what. We used to have a guy that fished a lot, and would always bring fish. I can't say as I have a favorite, but I love fried chicken, potato salad, green bean casserole, and spaghetti dishes.

Funny how we had to go around the mountain to end up with a quick, easy, cheap, potluck suggestion.

Chili Relleno casserole with chicken, It's easy and more suits my taste buds than Plain on Plain with a little bland tossed in.

Our little church has an eating meeting every Wednesday night. My wife and I take turns making different dishes and desserts. Tonight I made what I'm calling a Mexican Chicken Salad casserole and the wife made a couple of coconut pies. We both brought home empty dishes. One of my favorite places to look for ideas of food to take is here: " Deep South Dish: Recipes for Potlucks Church Socials Picnics Lots of good easy and tasty recipes and ideas.
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost....

Spam, sailor boy crackers and cheese in a can.. yep I'm the life of the pot luck parties
Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.

At many potlucks, you'll find four simple salads, three crockpots of beans, four trays of cheesy potatoes, and two dozen cakes. Don't bring those.
Nobody ever brings meat (although sometimes that's the sponsor-supplied item). I often smoke a turkey breast or a pair of roaster chickens. Cluadia makes a killer fruit salad and together we get invited EVERYwhere. Had one at a private home last week where I provided Bloody Marys (four kinds) and Claudia made her fruit salad. Already have two more invites.
