Watching Lonesome Dove on Youtube. Anyway in the scene where Peach comes to Rosco and tells him July’s wife has run off there are some little girls jumping rope in the background. They have on dresses and bonnets. But the one in the middle actually jumping rope looks to be wearing jeans under her dress and appears to be wearing white tennis shoes. She is definitely wearing white shoes and I don’t think those would have been a thing for kids in that situation in 1870s Arkansas. lol
