Salmon steaks and bear chops on the Blackstone. I’m liking this thing. It’s a bit more prep work and you want to have everything to hand, because it cooks so fast you don’t have time to run back and forth for stuff.

The bear was great (even smeared some of that nice fat around to season the griddle) and the salmon was nicely done, without pieces falling through the grill like on the bbq. The Blackstone puts a nice crust on the meat.

Would you mind sharing the coconut basmati recipe? Every one I have tried ends up with clumpy, gloopy rice...

We use a rice cooker.

1 x 400ml (2 cups) can of coconut milk, per 200ml (cup) of rice.

Hit go button & switches to warm, once moisture evaporated/absorbed !

Sorry Man, sounds like it, either needs a longer cook, or you're using to much liquid.

Don’t forget to wash your rice too.

Yes, definitely will be "clumpier", if the starches aren't washed off/out !

Deb didn't wash last nights & it was clumpier, than when I do it.

Maybe I just don't like the texture of cocnut rice.

I have always acribed the problem to the fattiness of the coconut milk. Perhaps I should try only using the coconut "water."

A carb redundant dinner. Cube steak, carrots, potatoes, on egg noodles. For crying out loud might as well thrown some rice in for good measure!
