Is anyone fishing now in the SE. Some of our northern brothern are probably still chipping ice to fish.
The smallmouths were very catchable last month in Dale Hollow Res. . The crappie and kentucky (spotted) bass hit well on Center Hill Res. when you found the cover. The walleye will start moving soon, now that the water is getting near 50 degrees.
I'll fish hard until April, when turkey season starts shoot some long beards, and then start up fishing again.

Yep, my boats out fishing for halibut right now.
Oh, you probably meant S.E. of the lower-48, not S.E. Alaska. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Been picking up here in eastern NC. Been catching bass and pickerel near the house along with a few crappie. Did catch the biggest pickeral of my life about 10 days ago, must've been 24". No real big bass yet and no channel cats other than one 3.5 pounder on a bankline.
Karma and Trouble have busses, and there's always an empty seat.
