This rifle is getting really hard to find. This rifle was made in 1948 and has not been altered in any way. There was only 13,677 made between 1941-1956.It has the Marbles sights. It is a bolt action. Comes with 3-6rd mags.Has a 27in heavy barrel.Selling for $550.These are very accurate rifles. In Anchorage Alaska so would have to ship to a dealer if interested.

Guys 'n gals--this is a bona fide deal. They didn't make very many of them and they don't make 'em like this at all any more. I have 2 of them (1 open sights and 1 peep-sighted) and they shoot gangbusters. Adult-sized rimfire and a great squirrel rifle.

Thanks for the input TNrifleman and dustoffer. The only reason I am selling is its just setting in my safe. It will outshoot most of these 22's on the market today.

Joe How would you you rate the condition of your rifle? 98,95,90,or 85% Does it have any rust or extra holes for a scope mount? Could I get some better pictures sent to thomastetenwindstream.net Are you open to offers on your gun? Thank You Tom

The rifle is a definite 90%. It has never had a scope on it. The gun has not been altered in any way. It is exactly how Remington built it. I am open to offers. There is one little spot of rust on the outside of the barrel close to the end of barrel and the trigger guard which is very minor. The trigger is made of metal that is of cheaper metal. The bore is like brand new. I will send you more pics today.
