I got this dude this evening on my good friends ranch. Huge buck that has been eluding me. His luck ran out. Scored 170 3/4 Gun: Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Westerner in 264 Win Mag. 120 gr BT. Bang flop

YOUZA!! Congrats, how old was that dude? My friend who knows deer pretty good thinks for him to be 7 years old. Didnt know his weight for sure but he was north of 200lbs in my guess by throwing him in the Polaris. There is a lot for them to eat at this property. Both my friend and his neighbors have 4000 acres collectively. They have seen him for years, but never got him in the truck. HARD buck to kill. Very smart. Put up a new stand based on the crazy winds yesterday and hit pay dirt. This picture doesnt do him justice. I will get more. God bless Texas.
