Going to be up north of Brainerd next weekend and plan on knocking the Whitefish Chain off my Minnesota bucket list. Several lakes, lots of structure. Anybody fished this area and can give me any hints on where to start? 'Most interested in catching walleyes and pike. Platform will be a Lund, 14 foot deep-V.

I spent a lot of time working on a huge log house where White fish and Hay lake meet.We fished Hay and the west shore line up to and around where the Pine river comes in,when the DNR was stripping walleyes you could go there and see HUGE females.Hay lake has some good fishing with lots off bass in it,lots of water on that chain of lakes.Dabble
