I have some great hunts available for this upcoming season. Non resident no draw is needed for you and out of state license/all tags is $315. There are no extra daily fees, extra charges if it is over a certain size, etc. What you see is what you get. I hunt several private ranches exclusively and pricing varies a bit between these properties. Hunts will take place in the Sonora Texas and nearby areas which San Angelo would be the nearest city. Single hunters or small to medium sized groups are welcome. I will include a quick list of what we have open below For specific pricing, pictures, ranch descriptions, etc. please check out this link to our website https://www.westtexashunt.com/whitetail-deer-hunts.htmlConsuelo Ranch Trophy Hunts 4 Open (Book all 4 and I will throw in a cull buck for each hunter and a 1 night predator hunt) Diamond TF Ranch 1 Trophy Hunt and 2 Management Bucks available Los Cuernos Ranch 5 Trophy Hunts Open and Several Cull Buck Hunts Highlonesome Ranch 5 8 Point Hunts Availability can change daily, please call or message me if you have any questions. Happy Hunting

Curious about these hunts... I'm way behind the 8 ball and looking for an affordable hunt for my 16 yr old daughter and I potentially in this coming fall (2019).
She is not in need of a monster deer, we just want to take a dad-daughter hunting trip in her senior year of high school, which is this coming fall.
Any opening you'd suggest? She'd be pretty shy about shared lodging with unfamiliar hunters, which may be an issue....
I can pm or call if that works better. Let me know what works. Thanks!

I will work with you on a hunt to fit your budget and I even have a few cull buck hunts open for $895. With all the rain we have had this year for the money the Highlonesome Hunt will be a good one for a dad-daughter trip. Give me a ring anytime, have a good one.

When you add up property tax, insurance, feed, foot plots, maintenance of feeders, blinds, buying new blinds, advertisement and it being private land + main source of income for most of these property owners the game has sure changed but I assure you if you compare our prices to our competitors we are much more competitive.

Ten bucks has NEVER bought any sort of deer hunting in Texas on commercial properties. When the Y O Ranch decided to allow the killing of does back in the early sixties, a one day, one doe, unguided Hunt was sixty bucks and that was typical for that time. You can internet shop for Texas Deer Hunting and find prices cheaper than what Mike is advertising but you will be disappointed. Any decent hunt experience will cost as much or more than Mike’s hunts and you won’t have the confidence of hunting with someone with a reputation to match Mike’s.
Never holler whoa or look back in a tight place

Right on curdog. Mike runs a great camp, is honest, and has some great properties. Can't go wrong.
It is irrelevant what you think. What matters is the TRUTH.

Plus, if you never hunted Texas, you are really missing out on a great experience.
And the people are pretty cool there as well.
