Is the action pillar bedded in the stock? How much without the scope? What is the barrel length?

Internal, center feed, 4+1 magazine
Top bolt release.
The scope isn't worth anything on its own. It's not a bad scope, but it was probably $100 new. More value in keeping it with the rifle. I haven't measured the barrel, but its probably 22". I'll update tonight if different. Factory bedding.

I think it's exceptionally weird to expect a high post count, or hold it against someone for being "new". It kind of encourages low quality posting. It's no secret that there's a safe way to buy/sell online, and I encourage those methods. Thanks for your comment.
The barrel is 22", and the best I can determine with a jag and patch, it's 1:10.
rodman, I sent you an email.

I've read through the stickies for the classifieds. The forum has no rule against new members using the classified section. It's explicitly buyer beware.

Thanks for the bump. Is my price crazy? I'd think a Model 10 in .308 would normally be pretty easy to sell.

I always felt like the Model 10 was sort of on par for quality with a Remington 700. Less popular perhaps... but a respected rifle. Offers entertained.

The Savages I've had were great shooters and very smooth actions. I think the 10s suffer because the newer ones come in the awful stock that looks like a laser tag gun and people just assume the 10 and Axis are the same.

It's sort of like Ford Mustangs. They're all kind of a joke because the base model looks basically like the GT500.
