The price on the hoof has fallen back some as of late, but fall contract sales were very good.

Don't watch beef prices, they don't matter to me.

Just like Gasoline.

I don't make money off the price, and I'm gonna buy it whatever it costs.

That said, prices were down $100 recently

Restrict welfare recipients from purchasing anything other than ground beef and cut off the illegals free groceries, then we'll see how well the beef industry fairs with these ludicrous prices.

Today's "sale" prices on mediocre cuts of beef are a joke.

Like most folks that buy a half or quarter now and then...we run out of steaks first. So the speaker of the house brought a couple rib steaks home from Costco last week, I forgot the price for sure but it was around 11 bucks a pound...the only flavor that meat had was whatever we smeared it with and a little flame on the barby...hell, I don't know, do they make red tofu? It could'a been tofu.

Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

You all pay for corruption in the US Government. Insider trading is not free. The Chinese Communist are buying meat processors and paying bribes to your government officials to ignore their corruptive influence and monopoly. Every company controlled by a Chinese Communist Citizen is owned by the Chinese Communist Party and should be treated as one entity.

Watch RFD and pay attention to meat prices paid to farmers and ranchers over years, not much increase.

Contract beef was going out last fall at 2.73 a pound on the hoof.
Someone above stated they were buying rib steaks at 11.00 per pound.
Salm… said he is not getting rich cutting so who is making the big check in between?

If it's a homo pile on, you're on the bottom.
