The administration says a drone that killed our troops yesterday was able to do so because a different US drone was scheduled to be returning to that base around the same time, and they confused them?
With all the tech on those things these days some sort of identifier emitting a signal isn’t part of that kind of strike package?
Is this a convenient excuse for someone REALLY dropping the ball?

The DeeCee Pentagram war machine is a paper tiger. We're good for one hammer blow against a nation, then we're done. We're also way behind the 2nd and 3rd world nations that have weaponized low-budget drones for maximum effectiveness: it costs us million$ every time we attempt to shoot down a drone, the other side only loses a few thousand $ for every drone they launch. That's unsustainable, and our defense industry has been tapped dry by sending everything we have to Ukraine.

I think it's just as likely the bigger lie is that they were killed in Syria but we'll probably never know for sure.

It would seem preposterous to me that you would not have a way to track our own and at the same time not be able to distinguish a foe.
Any guys here with recent military experience with these drones?
Yes, I think it’s a coverup costing lives but then again this administration is second to none at that. Afghanistan…..

If true, then our DoD just broadcast to the whole world a vulnerability in our defense systems.

I suspect there are several aspects of drone technology that have not been thoroughly explored or exploited yet given that one can launch anything from a Walmart $100 to a $1,000,000 machine.
