I used to have fun in the gas chamber. I figure if it's gonna jack me up, might as well have a good time.
We had to turn to the guy next to us, unscrew their filter and they had to clear their mask. Cool.
I would take off their filter and toss it across the chamber.
I was paid back but it was worth the snot and tears

I'd rather live in a gas chamber than deal with flash bangs on a regular basis. Was in an alley when 3 or 4 of them were dropped in on us. Worst feeling ever and I'd gladly do the chamber all over than do that.

I serves its purpose, to prove to the soldier that his/her mask works and thereby giving him/her confidence in that mask.
